Maybe - Josiah Leming

On September 14th Josiah Leming released his first ever full length album entitled “Come On Kid”. After two EP releases, “Angels Undercover” and “Punk Ass Rain”, Josiah was more than eager to release a full on album. Since the release I’ve had the album on repeat everytime I’m on the computer. You can tell how much love and thought Josiah put into each and every song. While he is a talented singer, he is a just as talented piano and guitar player. He shows off all of his skills on this album. I have two personal favorite songs on the album. “Maybe” is a more upbeat song, which is different for Josiah, but it’s really cool to hear him try something new. “Maybe” is about a relationship that he wants to start over. It’s a cute little love song about trying to get the girl back that he loved more than ever. Then there is “Song Without a Reason” which Josiah had mentioned to me in our interview in August. He mentioned that it’s the “purest song on the album” and that’s why he liked it so much.  It really is a soft and sweet song. It’s one of those songs that you’ll listen to and your breath will be taken away. The only way to explain it would be to call it beautiful. “Silly Fly” was the song Josiah was most amped about though, and once I heard it, I understood why. When you read the song title most people will think “Really? a song about a Fly, what were you thinking?” but it’s not about a fly at all. Josiah sings to a person who seems to be making all these mistakes in life, and he sees through their sillyness and cunningness. It’s another fast paced song and it’s really fun to listen to. Josiah has a voice like no other. The album is available on iTunes for only $8.99, which to me is a steal for an album this good.

Josiah is about to embark on a tour with Tyler Hilton. So you should definitely check those out (HERE) and get out to the date nearest you. You will not be sorry.
