The Maine, London, England, 26th of September 2012.
Being a long time fan of The Maine and coming abroad to go to school, and getting to see them in a completely different culture and setting was an amazing experience for me. I’ve seen The Maine grow from a band who’d play shows for 8 kids, to playing sold out 1,000+ capacity venues. So getting to see them play a 1,100 capacity venue in London, was a crazy experience. The fans response was amazing to them, the venue was filled with noise from the 5 minutes before The Maine took the stage, until 10 minutes after they left the stage. Girls were screaming, boys were screaming, and everybody was singing along, including parents who brought the under 16’s to the show. It was so enjoyable to see how worldly accepted The Maine are as a band, even with their ever changing music.
