Good Charlotte are back and better than ever. Right now they are headlining the Cardinology tour, which is named after their latest album. The show was packed and everybody there was there for Good Charlotte, the fact that they knew the other bands on the tour was pretty much luck. Everyone was eagerly awaiting their set. They played mainly older songs, which had long time fans even more excited than they already were. They played songs from every album they’ve released which was really exciting for fans who were too young to have seen them in concert in 1999 and 2000. My favorite part of the night though had to be when Benji had a solo song and sang Emotionless. This song had been my favorite song when I was 11 and 12 years old and getting to hear it live was a treat. Although the Madden brothers were both sick, they still put on an amazing show and you could barely tell they were sick except for when they spoke. When the band played Fireworks off of their first album, Good Charlotte, they brought a fan up from the crowd to help Joel sing the song. The girl was having the time of her life and it was really exciting to watch her up their performing with a band that was obviously one of her favorites. Good Charlotte have some of the best stage presence I’ve seen from a band in awhile. They are great performers and I would advise anyone who has ever enjoyed a Good Charlotte song to go out to this tour.
