Coming out with their first full length album on 4/20, The Words You Don’t Swallow, Anarbor took small risks. With each song sounding like the other, the whole album still comes together; clever lyrics as well as mellow tones that will make your head bob to the beat. Carefree and soothing in a way, it makes sense why they released the album on April 20th.

The overall feel of the album is calming and just wants you to relax, in my perspective of the view anyway. The Words You Don’t Swallow starts off with beats that easily catch your attention, while the lyrics are actually telling the audience things that will happen, or had already happened through their lives, like in The Whole World.

Taking it slow, pulling out the acoustic guitar and playing up the bass, Carefree Highway is something different; a feel for another side of Anarbor that I have been waiting to see come out for a while. As the album progresses, the rhythm gets faster making anyone that wants to dance (and fist-pump), have the opportunity too.

Don’t take it just from me, listen to The Words You Don’t Swallow and even catch Anarbor on this years Warped Tour 2010.

Must Listen: Going To Jail, the chorus is so catchy it’ll get stuck in your head for days, or maybe that is just me.

Take what you need but my music leaves with me.
