There have been rumors for quite a while that iconic New Jersey favorites, Midtown would get back together. Today this news became more than just something kids from New Jersey dreamed about. The band has said they will reunite for three shows to the newly reborn Skate and Surf Festival in Asbury Park, NJ, playing each of their albums in its entirety at each show. The only question there is to ask is if it will be the same Midtown that thrived in the underground New Jersey scene or if it will be tainted by bassist/ singer Gabe Saporta’s immense fame as the frontman of Cobra Starship? _Lizy Goold
