Girls
Girls is an indie rock band from San Francisco, CA. Christopher Owens, the lead singer is a former member of the cult Children of God, which has inspired some of their music. Because of his inability to freely listen to music while growing up, he now is able to liberate his pent up emotions he has been keeping inside of himself. Their debut album, ironically titled Album was released last fall. Their psychedelic rock mixed with Christopher’s emotional vocals makes for an interesting but good sound. 1960’s style surf rock is becoming hip again so keep an eye out for updates on them and other bands!
