The Academy Is.. was one of the first bands I’d ever heard of on my own. Almost Here was my go to album in middle school for anything I was ever going through. When I heard The Academy Is… would probably not be a band anymore I was devastated. But when FBR announced their 15th anniversary show I waited with my fingers crossed for the news of a TAI… performance. And I got what I wished for and more. The band played Almost Here in whole plus a few other songs. It was amazing to hear and be there to witness a real life time-warp type thing. I felt like I had gone back in time to 7th grade, and I couldn’t be more excited, especially because I knew most of the people around me felt exactly how I did.

A Rocket To The Moon was the first band I managed to catch at the FBR 15th anniversary show. ARTTM are one of my all time favorite bands and I was beyond excited to see them play. As always they put on an awesome set. You can always tell the band just loves to preform, which is one of my favorite things to see.

Rocket are on tour with NeverShoutNever this fall, so be sure to check them out when they’re in your town!

I know I’m so excited to see The Academy Is.. play Almost Here in it’s entirety! Both shows have amazing line-ups, so this is a not to miss event.
