Check out the world premiere of our new music video for “Misery”

Check out The Maine’s newest music video release for their song “Misery”. The Maine have taken a more indie/artistic route on their latest musical endeavor and we here at L.I.F.E. Press are loving it. The song is a bit mysterious and the music video shows that very well. The silhouetted figures and the old fashion contrasty coloring of the video makes this more than just a music video, but an artistic statement. The Maine wanted to move from the pop-punk/pop-rock genre they began in, and they very successfully have completed that task. I know for a fact I’m interested to stick around and see what The Maine have up their sleeves for us next. Keep posted here at L.I.F.E. Press to follow The Maine’s progression through the music world.

Zach Johnson (by Sara Feigin)
On Saturday January 14th I See Stars’ headlining tour made it’s stop in NYC. The boys of I See Stars took the stage with their song “End of the World Party” and the crowd went crazy. The energy of the room was insane, and from the minute the band took the stage to the second they finished there was an on going circle pit. The band fed off the crowds excitement and you could just tell everybody was having a blast. The boys will be on their headliner through January 29th and then hit the road again on March 9th to tour with Asking Alexandria. Be sure to check them out when they come to a town near you!

Mike Hranica, The Devil Wears Prada
On Tuesday December 13th I got to shoot the Dead Throne Tour. The line up was For Today, Enter Shikari, White Chapel and of course The Devil Wears Prada. The Devil Wears Prada are one of my favorite bands to shoot as they have so much energy. You can just tell how much each member of the band really loves what they’re doing. The band came on stage with strobe lights going off like crazy and fans going wild. The girls behind the barricade had been complaining all show about how badly they wanted TDWP to get onstage. Once TDWP took the stage the girls at the barricade went wild. The band’s energy took over everyone, even the fellow photographers in the pit were nodding their heads along with the beat. I watched the set halfway through and the crowd was going nuts. The response to their performance was amazing. If you like metal music of anytime you should definitely go check out The Devil Wears Prada next time they’re in town. They’re high energy and have enough break downs to keep you dancing, or moshing, all night through.

Jonathan Cook (by Sara Feigin)
On Tuesday November 29th, Forever The Sickest Kids took the stage in NYC to a sold out crowd at Best Buy Theatre. While they weren’t the headliners, the crowd was going wild for them. Singer Jonathon Cook appeared on the stage in a full out skeleton body suit, covering his whole body. The band has so much energy while performing that it’s nearly impossible for an audience member to not be captivated. The set was filled with new, old and brand new songs. It was a great group of songs for all kinds of fans of the band, or even just music lovers. While their tour with Simple Plan is over, they’ll be heading out to Australia come late February. Every kind of music lover out there needs to get themself to see a FTSK show at some point. They won’t be sorry that they did.
